Yelahanka Metro Station will serve the Bellary Road stretch once it opens and it sits on Namma Metro's Blue Line, also called the Airport Metro. It stands close to Embassy Knowledge Park, roughly 1 to 2 km away. As of August 2026, the station is still under construction and not yet open for passengers.
The Blue Line is 58.19 km long and extends between Central Silk Board and Kempegowda International Airport. It covers such locations as Bellandur, Marathahalli, KR Puram, Hebbal, and Yelahanka. There are almost 30 stations on the Blue Line. The second phase of which is 2B, covers Hebbal to the airport via Yelahanka.
Yelahanka Metro Station is located right on Bellary Road, which is being upgraded. Heading south from Yelahanka, trains will run toward Hebbal, Nagawara, and KR Puram. From there, the line connects onward to Marathahalli and Central Silk Board. Blue Line fares are yet to be announced because the line is still under construction. Fares in Namma Metro are usually charged according to distance traveled. Short distances cost approximately ₹10, and longer ones that span across the city cost ₹60 or even higher.
Once the Blue Line opens for use, a fare from Yelahanka to Silk Board or Airport will be around this amount.
Prior to Yelahanka station being in use, the closest functioning metro station would be Nagasandra, which is located along the green line metro route. Nagasandra is located around 12 to 14 Km away from the current location.

The two stations that are coming up in this ring are Yelahanka (Kogilu Cross) and Bagalur Cross. These stations will cater to passengers from Satellite Town and Jakkur. It is proposed that a skywalk will connect the metro station with Yelahanka Junction Railway Station.
There will be BMTC electric feeder buses connecting these points for the last mile.
Embassy Knowledge Park is located at a distance of about 13 km from the airport on NH-44. The residents will be able to get a rail connection to the airport as well as the city center after the Blue Line starts operating. This will reduce their reliance on the road network during rush hours.
